Shipping Policy
All of my products are handmade and most of them include components made by other artisans. Allow 2-3 weeks for manufacturing time.
LaFabre ship in standard parcel via the Shippo application (Carriers: UPS, Canada Post).
Estimated delivery times are usually 3 to 6 business days in Quebec and 4 to 10 business days in the rest of Canada. LaFabre is not responsible for delivery delays.
Delivery costs are calculated at checkout, based on the products ordered and the delivery address.
At this time, LaFabre ship only to Canada (except for Northwest Territories, yukon and Nunavut) and United States (except for Hawai, Alaska and US/Pacific/Europe forces). However, contact me directly for any special requests regarding delivery outside of Canada and US. I will evaluate the possibilities and the modalities.
I make every effort to ship my products in sturdy and adequate packaging to get your orders to you as planned. LaFabre is not responsible for loss or damage caused by the carrier.
Return & Exchange Policy
I obviously want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, it is why my products, but in the event that there is an error in the order or that you notice a manufacturing defect, contact me and, after analyzing the situation and confirming the error or manufacturing defect, I will gladly proceed with an exchange, a refund, or a credit to your account.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, contact me to request an exchange or a credit to your account.
Prior to any refund/exchange/credit for dissatisfaction, the item must be returned to LaFabre in its original packaging and not have been used, modified, or damaged, with proof of purchase.
Shipping charges are non-refundable and cannot be applied as a credit for an exchange.
All our deliveries come with a return label because we want to make your life easier. However, you are responsible for any additional charges applicable due to a return, if such is the case.
Custom-made furniture is neither refundable nor exchangeable.
LIFETIME WARRANTY
All our products are designed and manufactured in accordance with high quality standards. We offer you a LIFETIME WARRANTY on all manufacturing defects that may occur over the years. Depending on the case, the product will be repaired free of charge, exchanged, credited or refunded. You are, however, responsible for paying applicable additional charges due to order return/exchange/repair.
By manufacturing defect we understand the following situations (but not limited to):
- Laminate that cracks
- Drawer or door that opens badly / closes badly
- Wooden top that seeks to round off
A color variation is not a manufacturing defect. We value the beauty and uniqueness of nature through the materials we use.
Some cases not covered by our warranty:
- The effects due to the normal use of a piece of furniture.
- Damage due to habitual or abusive use.
- Damage and stains due to liquids.
- Changes in color or shade.
- Damage due to incorrect use.
- Damage due to the use of cleaning products (see our maintenance advice).
- Damage due to contact with a heat source (cauldrons, candle, heater or other).
- Changes due to external factors such as improper temperature or humidity level.
This list is not exhaustive. We deal with warranty claims on a case-by-case basis and we retain the right to refuse any case that is not mentioned in this list.
Custom-made furniture:
In the event of a manufacturing defect, we will repair/maintain it free of charge.
However, transportation costs as well as any material required will be invoiced, whether for maintenance covered or not by the guarantee.
Custom furniture orders are made through a long design process and the start of manufacturing is conditional on the approval of the plans/concepts/drawings by the customers. Customers who receive their order cannot therefore request reimbursement, compensation or price accommodation.
